Camellia Sasanqua

Camellia topiary, Robertson

Camellia Sasanqua is a beautiful evergreen tree originating from China and Japan which grows to a height of 8m that can be pruned to a shrub. With her dense thicket of small glossy dark green leaves and blooming pink, white, red or bi-coloured flowers, it is easy to see why the Sasanqua makes a glorious hedge.

When to Prune?

The Saanqua has an annual prune after the plant has finished blooming in mid - to - late winter. You can also trim any branches or ones that are growing outside the shape you want in late spring or summer.
