Pittosporum
A most popular, low maintenance, evergreen shrub. Originally from New Zealand, the common tenuifolium varieties you see love the cool climate of the SH. These bushes are great for privacy screens and hedges. Has light green to dark green foliage depending on variety. Grows to about 3m. Hardy and frost tolerant.
When to prune?
We suggest mid autumn, late spring and summer. If you need to drastically cut back your asset try to limit pruning to no more than one-third of the plant's overall size.
